The Geo. H. Rundle
Co., of Windsor, and the
Mentholatum Co. of Fort Erie, who later bought out the Windsor company,
used the same formula as Porter's but sold it under the name of
Rundle's Salve. Which was discontinued years ago.
Porter's Salve is highly recommended
for minor
cuts, abrasions, burns,
insect bites, hard corns, local infections, externally caused skin
irritations, and the list goes on and on.
The Salve has a soothing, drawing quality which works particularly well
on slivers of metal, wood, or glass beneath the surface of the skin. It
is recommended for man and beast alike, and has been a medicine cabinet
staple since 1916. Countless testimonies from satisfied customers
assure you of the quality of Porter's Liniment Salve.
